Just Another Day

I feel like summer is blowing by. I can't believe that is already the end of July. When looking back at what we have been doing since summer started, I feel like it hasn't been very much. I have been so busy doing school, school, and more school. I feel like I don't have time for anyting else (I shouldn't have taken summer classes). We have gotten in a couple camping trips already and I was hoping for some more, but that doesn't look like it will be happening. We have been swimming a lot with our friends. Well, the boys and I have been. Ryan works afternoons so he isn't home when we go. And, I would love to get out on our boat and get a tan, but who can afford that??? It has been one of those weeks. I have spent the last two days doing nothing but homework (since the end of the semester is neering) I will never have to take an art class again!!!! Woohoo!! I can tell my kids are getting bored. They are getting naughter and naughter as they days go by. By 9:00 I am absolutly exhausted, but for some reason can't fall asleep. How is it only Tuesday?
Brady did make me laugh again today (as usual, he is always saying something funny). He let a fly into the house, so he grabbed a hand towel and said he was going to "whomp it". It was like watching someone swat a fly in slow motion. I couldn't help but to laugh. And yep, the fly is still buzzing around my kitchen.
I do have to say....I am starting to like this whole blogging thing. I can document some of my funny stories for myself and share them with all my friends. I am really enjoying it. Thanks Trish for getting me started.

~Test Grade

So, I took my test and got 93%. I only missed one. And my professor replied to my e-mail and it wasn't so bad. There is still hope.

School

So, I'm sure if you are reading this you know that I am going to school. The rate I am going I will be there for the next 10 years.
It is a couple weeks away from finals and I am getting really nervous. I am only taking two classes this semester, Art and Math. And I am sure I have told you that I am a math dummy. I have such a hard time, and I am taking the class online so it makes it that much harder. It doesn't help that I have an instructor that is a pain. For example, yesterday I took a practice test, like I have to before every test, and 5 out of 15 questions weren't even in the chapter. I missed all of them. This has happed on 3 other tests this semester so, I sent him an e-mail that may not have been the nicest thing I have ever sent. Now I am really worried about what I have done. I probably should have waited until the class was over. He already has a high failure rate, and I have failed one of his classes before (it wasn't lack of trying either). Any way, I am almost done, so I just need to hang in there and cross my fingers. I think the Art class is going alright. I have one more assignment and a quiz left then I am done. I know I will pass that one.

Camping

I grew up camping in a trailer with a full bathroom and a TV for movies, so when I married Ryan and he was a tenter, it was quite an adjustment for me. When we were dating he told me that staying in a trailer wasn't camping. The only way to camp is in a tent. So, for almost 8 years now I have been sucking it up and sleeping in a tent with out a heater or a bathroom. I have been trying to convince Ryan that it would be so much easier with the kids if we had a trailer. He didn't see things my way, until, Our last camping trip Brady got sick in the tent the first night there and threw-up in the sleeping bag. Ewe!!!!! We had to cut the trip short and on our way home we stopped and bought a trailer!!! Wahoo!! I am so excited. Well, we got to test it out this weekend. It was great. I love camping.
We went to the East Fork of the Bear River. I love it there, the weather was perfect, I was able to hang out most of the time in my shorts and catch some rays. When we drove up to the lake so fish, it was a little colder and I had to cover up a bit.
The boys had a blast, we really enjoyed being there as a family, just spending time together. We went fishing, threw rocks in the "riber" (that's what Brady kept calling it"), watched movies, and just sat around camp. I even got to read a little. I can't wait until we can go again.

Heading to the lake.

Caleb caught a whopper!

Now its Bunches turn.

I even helped. I just wouldn't touch the fish.

The boys being super heros in the rocks.

My Favorite Holiday

The 4th of July is my Favorite!!!! Every year we go up to the cabin (Ryan's family has one) and we play games and Grandma cooks us lunch. She always has fun prizes and lots of ice cream and candy.

The boys love going up there so much they ran all the way up to the cabin (we have to park at the bottom by the gate and hike a little bit to get there).

After all the food, games, and prizes, we headed over to Uncle Tyler's house to celebrtate with fireworks (sparklers caught his grass on fire a few times, oops!). I had more fun watching all the kids than I did watching the firey display. I love being with family and celebratig our freedoms together. The couldn't have been better. I cant wait for next year!!

Ryan's grandma saves all her change through out the year and we pick numbrs trying to win it. She brings presents for the Bingo winners, and cooks a great lunch of steak, baked potatos, corn on the cob, and lots of salads. I love being there with all our family.

These are the flowers that the girls (my nieces) were out side picking. Gracie got a boquet just for her mom.

The Blogging World

So, I have a friend that told me she is a blogger. I never knew so many people out there do this. Why has it taken me so long to get into? So, she was telling me that you could change your back ground and have it look like a cute scrapbook. I think this is great, since I am a scrap book dummy. I was checking out this great site and decided to add one to my page. Well, I don't love it and I am getting frustrated trying to change it. If my page just looks stupid and thrown together, that is because it is. And, I'm not going to change it today. I will have to play around another day and see if I can figure out how to get my back ground changed again. This is exactly why I don't scrap book. I'M NOT GOOD AT IT!!!!

Anyway, I had one of my good friends bring her son Jalen over to play in the sprinklers today. The boys had a blast! I can't believe I didn't think about this a month ago. They were so entertained, and it was a great way to keep cool. I am a slacker though and I didn't even think to get my camera out. I need to remember these things if I am going to be a blogger.

Thanks Trish

I would like to thank my friend Trish for getting me into this. She decided to move away to Oklahoma and thought it would be a good idea for me to create a blog so she could stay up-to-date on all the events in my life. She better return the favor. This is something new for me and I'm not sure I will be very good at it. But, I will try my hardest to keep it up to date just for you Trish.
For now I know my page is really boring. When I have more time to play around and figure out how this works, I will make it more appealing and add some pics.
