Being Boys

Since the recent start of Kindergarten, Caleb and Brandon (he lives next door) have become fast friends. They played a few times over the summer but are now really getting to know each other. They are in the same class, and I car pool with his mom back and forth to school. So, they
spend a lot of time together. Thanks for being our friend Brandon!

Just hangin' out having an after school snack.

Being boys playing with hunting gear. If you look at Caleb's feet (in the middle) you will see soccer cleats. They were playing soccer before they were hunting.

Did you know........

I live with a super hero????

You should have seen him with the moon boots on!

Ambien

I guess it has been a while since I have added a post to my blog. I have a few fun things I will add within the next few days.
I want to warn all of you about some of the side effects of taking the sleep aid Ambien. A few weeks ago I went to the doctor because I have a really hard time going to sleep. This has been and ongoing problem and I get up at 4:30 to go to work, so I don't function properly if I don't go to sleep until 1 or 2. Anyway, the doctor told me that I have a problem with some anxiety and gave me a prescription for Ambien to help me get back in the mode of falling to sleep. I have heard some horror stories about this drug and I was really reluctant to take it. I didn't want to take it while I was home alone with my boys, so I waited until the weekend to take it when Ryan would be here with me. The first few nights were amazing!!! I have never slept better. So...I continued taking it until the night before last! I took it about 8:15 and laid in my bed reading until 8:30 (I know it's kind of early). I reached over and turned off my lamp and started hallucinating!!!! I was seeing all these different shapes float above me in what looked like smoke swirling around. Then I saw a girl standing at the foot of my bed. I sat up and told Ryan to look at it. He thought I was going crazy. He was ready to take me to the ER. When I refused to go he told me to just close my eyes. When I did, I passed out. I don't think I moved the whole night. I am pretty sure I won't be taking that ever, ever again.
