Answered Prayers

It amazes me how much trust in the lord my children have. I was standing up on a ladder cleaning the ceiling fan in my family room, when I wiped the washcloth over a bolt (that holds the fan to the ceiling), it flipped down to the floor. I asked Caleb to find it for me. He looked and looked and he couldn't find it. Then he asks...."How do you say a prayer to find something that is lost?". I told him that you say it the same as any other prayer you want to say, so right there he began praying to heavenly father to help him find the bolt. After the prayer he sat there completely silent for a few seconds. Suddenly Brady asks "is Jesus talking to you?" Caleb: "yes" Brady: "I can't hear him" Then Caleb says "its under the table". I told him to look, and there it was!!! While he was sitting there after the prayer, I was thinking 'please answer his prayer'. Not to find the bolt, but to show him that his prayers are answered. Honestly...I was SHOCKED that he said he could hear Jesus and that he knew right where to find the bolt after he sat and listened. He showed me that if you have enough faith and you sit and listen, your prayers (no matter how small) are answered. I am so grateful that both of my boys had this experience. I hope I never forget this moment and I hope they remember it.
