Over the last month or so, there have been these wild sun flowers blooming along the highway. For about a week I would look at them on my way home from work and just be amazed at beautiful they were. There are miles and miles of these flowers that I have been able to enjoy. In fact I told my mom one day how amazing they were. One day last week I noticed that they are starting to die. I had taken their beauty for granted. I noticed them for a few days and then forgot about them. Now they are gone. I wish I would have noticed them every single day before they died, because they wont be back for another year. This made me realize how much I take for granted every single day. I need to slow down and enjoy the things around me more, after all "things" don't last forever.
