My Favorite Holiday

The 4th of July is my all time favorite holiday. I love going to parades and being with my family. I love the look on my sons' faces when the first fire work has gone off. But, mostly I love going up to the Cabin with all of Ryan's family to eat steaks, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, salad and yummy fruit. Let's not forget the home made ice cream (my fave). We go up there for lunch and spend the after noon playing games and winning fun prizes provided by Ryan's Grand parents. They always have a piggy bank full of their change that they have saved over the year and who ever guesses the correct # wins the bank. I have only won once, but I have won lots of other fun things. There are prizes for Bingo and a present stealing game that we play with our names and birthdays. This year Ryan, Caleb, and Brady all had presents at the end. What lucky boys. They were so excited. Then we headed home for some fireworks in the street. Aside from the mosquitoes that ate me alive, it was a blast. Not very big, but together with the ones I love most. I can't wait for next year.
