Combined Mutual Activity

WOW! What a night. I just got home from our weekly activity with the Young Women, and it was so much fun. We were combined with the Young Men and it was our turn to plan the activity. So, we played the game show, Minute to Win it. It was a blast. I wish I had some of the pictures to post, but I was in charge so I was explaining the rules and getting every thing set up. Hopefully I can get some forwarded to me from another leader or some of the girls. I don't normally blog about this type of stuff, but I just don't want to ever forget the feeling that I have right now. I feel like I just got home from spending the most amazing day with my kids. In a way they are my kids, all of them, Young Men included. The youth in our ward are so fun, and they all get along well. I love it. Even though the activity its self wasn't very spiritual, I feel over whelmed by the spirit tonight. I never thought I could enjoy a calling in the church as much as I do. As hard as it is to take my two boys (7 and 5) every week to the activities, I wouldn't trade it for ANYTHING! I am so blessed to have the youth in my life to teach me and to guide me. I hope I am giving them the same direction the provide for me. I love each and every one of them as if they were my own and I cherish every moment that I get to spend with them.
